Chicklet
A Chicklet is a small, square or rectangular piece of chewing gum, named after the brand originally produced by the American Chicle Company. Introduced in 1906, Chicklets were one of the first commercially successful chewing gums sold in individual pieces. They are typically sugar-coated and available in various flavors, though the original flavor was peppermint. The term "Chicklet" has sometimes been used generically to refer to any small, rectangular piece of chewing gum, regardless of brand. Over time, the Chicklet brand was acquired by Warner-Lambert and later by Cadbury Adams. The product continues to be sold in some markets around the world.
