Candlestick (film)

Candlestick is a 1971 British thriller film directed by Ian Fordyce and starring Jack Palance, Veronica Carlson, and Dennis Waterman. The film centers around a young woman, Jane, who returns to her family's isolated mansion following the death of her brother. She soon becomes embroiled in a series of mysterious events and suspects that her brother's death may not have been accidental. The film is known for its suspenseful atmosphere and plot twists, and is considered a minor entry in the British horror/thriller genre of the early 1970s. It was also released under the alternate title The Corpse.
