Maurice Alexander (safety)

Maurice Alexander (born March 30, 1991) is an American football safety who has played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams (later the Los Angeles Rams) in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Alexander played college football at Utah State University. During his collegiate career, he was a key defensive player for the Aggies.

With the Rams, Alexander initially served as a special teams contributor before earning a starting role at safety. He was known for his hard-hitting style and contributions in run support. He was a team captain for the Rams.
