Marcel Léger (Ontario politician)
Marcel Léger (born July 14, 1930, died October 4, 1993) was a Canadian politician in Ontario. He served as a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1975 to 1990, representing the riding of Stormont—Dundas and Glengarry.
Léger was born in Cornwall, Ontario. Prior to entering provincial politics, he worked as a teacher. He was first elected in the 1975 provincial election and re-elected in 1977, 1981, 1985, and 1987.
During his time in the legislature, Léger served in various roles including parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Agriculture and Food. He was known for his advocacy for agricultural issues and his strong ties to his rural riding.
He did not run in the 1990 provincial election.
