Fräschels
Fräschels is a municipality in the Seebezirk (Lake District) of the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. It is located on the Grosses Moos (Great Marsh), a large area of reclaimed land that was formerly part of Lake Neuchâtel. The official language of Fräschels is German, though French is also spoken. The economy of Fräschels is primarily agricultural, with notable production of vegetables due to the fertile soil of the Grosses Moos. The municipality is also experiencing a growing residential population due to its proximity to larger towns and cities. Historically, the area was subject to flooding before land reclamation efforts.
