Manu García (footballer, born 1998)

Manuel "Manu" García Alonso (born 2 January 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder.

Career

García began his career in the youth ranks of Sporting de Gijón before joining Manchester City's academy in 2013. He made his senior debut for Manchester City in September 2015 in a League Cup match against Sunderland. He also featured in the Premier League that season.

He spent time on loan at several clubs, including Alavés, NAC Breda, and Toulouse, gaining further first-team experience.

In 2019, García returned to Sporting de Gijón.

International Career

García has represented Spain at various youth levels, including the under-16, under-17, under-18, and under-19 teams. He has participated in youth international tournaments.

García is known for his technical ability, vision, and passing range. He is capable of playing in various attacking midfield roles.
