Magnus (consul 460)

Magnus was a Roman aristocrat who served as consul in the year 460 AD. He is primarily known through his consular date, as very little else is securely documented about his life or career. His consulship occurred during the reign of the Western Roman Emperor Majorian. The other consul for that year was Flavius Severinus. The fact that Magnus achieved this high office indicates he held considerable wealth and influence within the dwindling Western Roman Empire. Further biographical details remain scarce.
