Lužná (Rakovník District)
Lužná is a municipality and village in the Rakovník District of the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 23.79 square kilometres (9.19 sq mi), and as of 2023, it has a population of approximately 1,900.
Lužná is notable for hosting the Railway Museum of Czech Railways (Železniční muzeum Českých drah), one of the largest railway museums in the Czech Republic. The museum features a collection of locomotives, railway carriages, and other historical railway equipment.
The village is located approximately 10 kilometers (6 mi) southwest of Rakovník and about 50 kilometers (31 mi) west of Prague.
The area is primarily agricultural, with some light industry and tourism centered around the railway museum.
