Lanark Burghs (UK Parliament constituency)

Lanark Burghs was a district of burghs constituency representing a collection of burghs in Lanarkshire, Scotland, in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It existed from 1832 to 1918.

The constituency was created by the Representation of the People (Scotland) Act 1832 and comprised the burghs of Airdrie, Hamilton, Lanark, Linlithgow, and Falkirk.

In 1885, under the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885, Linlithgow was removed from the Lanark Burghs constituency and grouped with other burghs to form the Linlithgowshire (or West Lothian) constituency. At the same time, Coatbridge was added to Lanark Burghs.

The constituency was abolished in 1918 by the Representation of the People Act 1918. The areas formerly within Lanark Burghs were then incorporated into new county constituencies.
