Klangor
Klangor, also spelled clangor, is a loud, resonant, metallic sound, often described as a ringing or clanging. It can be continuous or intermittent. The word is used to describe the noise produced by striking metal objects, such as bells, armor, or machinery. It can also be used to describe the sound of a large flock of birds taking flight or the cries of certain birds, particularly geese. The term often carries a connotation of harshness or discordance. The intensity of the klangor can range from a relatively mild ringing to an overwhelming din.
