Kevin White (American football)

Kevin White (born June 25, 1992) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played college football at West Virginia University.

Early Life and High School Career:

White was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. He attended Lackawanna College for two years, where he played junior college football.

College Career:

After Lackawanna College, White transferred to West Virginia University. In his senior season (2014), he had a breakout year, catching 109 passes for 1,447 yards and 10 touchdowns. This performance earned him All-American honors and made him one of the top wide receiver prospects for the 2015 NFL Draft.

Professional Career:

White was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the seventh overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. His NFL career was significantly hampered by injuries. He missed his entire rookie season with a stress fracture in his shin. He also suffered other injuries throughout his career with the Bears, limiting his playing time and production.

Following his time with the Bears, White signed with the Arizona Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers, and the New Orleans Saints, but did not achieve significant playing time or statistical success.
