Joe Flaherty (politician)

Joe Flaherty is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has served as a Senator for the Industrial and Commercial Panel since 2020. Prior to his election to the Seanad, he served as a Councillor on Longford County Council representing the Longford Municipal District from 2009 to 2020. During his time on the council, he held the position of Cathaoirleach (Chairperson). His political interests reportedly include regional development, rural infrastructure, and business supports. He has been involved in various community initiatives within County Longford.
