Gupis (Goopechh valley)
Gupis is a valley and tehsil (administrative subdivision) located in the Ghizer District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is known for its scenic beauty, fruit orchards, and the confluence of the Gupis River and the Ghizer River. The valley is historically significant, serving as a crossroads along ancient trade routes.
Geographically, Gupis is characterized by its rugged mountainous terrain, high altitude, and lush green terraces. The climate is typically cold and dry, with significant snowfall during the winter months.
