Jim Hamilton (footballer, born 1976)
Jim Hamilton (born September 2, 1976) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a striker.
Career
Hamilton began his career at Dundee United, making his debut in the Scottish Premier League. He gained a reputation as a physical and hard-working forward, often utilized as a target man.
Following his time at Dundee United, Hamilton played for several other clubs in the Scottish leagues, including notable spells at Heart of Midlothian, where he featured in European competition, and Dunfermline Athletic. He also played for Motherwell, Livingston, and Ayr United.
