Stožok

A stožok (plural: stožoki) is a traditional hayrack or hay dryer found predominantly in Slovenia. These structures are important elements of the Slovenian rural landscape and cultural heritage. They are typically built of wood and feature a characteristic roof, designed to protect the hay from the elements while allowing for ventilation. Their primary function is to facilitate the drying of hay, an essential process for preserving it as animal fodder for the winter months.
