Aaron Garcia (American football)

Aaron Garcia (born November 16, 1970) is a former professional American football quarterback. He is best known for his long and successful career in the Arena Football League (AFL).

Garcia played college football at Sacramento State University, where he set numerous school records.

He began his AFL career in 1995 with the Albany Firebirds. He subsequently played for the Connecticut Coyotes, New Jersey Red Dogs/Gladiators, Arizona Rattlers, Los Angeles Avengers, Austin Wranglers, and New Orleans VooDoo.

Garcia holds several AFL records, including career passing yards, career touchdown passes, and career pass attempts. He was named the AFL's Most Valuable Player in 1999 and led the Arizona Rattlers to ArenaBowl championships in 1994 and 1997. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in Arena Football League history. After the AFL suspended operations, Garcia also played in the UFL (United Football League) with the Sacramento Mountain Lions in 2009.
