Jessica Clarke (footballer)
Jessica Anne Clarke (born 5 May 1989) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for FA Women's National League North club Nottingham Forest. She previously played for Leeds United, Lincoln Ladies (Notts County Ladies), Liverpool and Sheffield United Women. Clarke has also represented England at all youth levels and senior level, earning over 50 caps.
Clarke began her career at Leeds United, progressing through their academy system. She won the FA Women's Premier League Cup with Leeds in 2010. Following Leeds' financial difficulties, she joined Lincoln Ladies in 2010.
In 2013, she signed with Liverpool, playing a key role in their FA Women's Super League title victories in both 2013 and 2014.
Clarke moved to Sheffield United Women in 2017.
Internationally, Clarke has been a regular feature in the England squad. She participated in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup and UEFA Women's Euro 2009 and 2013. Clarke announced her retirement from international football in 2019.
In July 2023, Clarke signed for Nottingham Forest Women, joining their FA Women’s National League North campaign.
