Ian Robinson (squash player)

Ian Robinson is a former professional squash player from England. He was a prominent figure in the sport during the 1970s and 1980s. Robinson reached a career-high ranking of World No. 3 in January 1980. He was known for his attacking style of play and strong court coverage. Robinson represented England in several international competitions, including the World Team Squash Championships. He achieved considerable success in major tournaments, reaching the finals of the British Open in 1979, where he lost to Geoff Hunt. He won the British Professional Championship in 1979 and several other PSA tour events throughout his career. After retiring from professional squash, Robinson remained involved in the sport through coaching and other activities.
