James Wright (wide receiver)
James Wright is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Cincinnati and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Wright played for the Bengals from 2011 to 2014. During his time in Cincinnati, he primarily served as a reserve receiver and special teams contributor. He recorded his best statistical season in 2013, with 13 receptions for 184 yards and one touchdown.
Following his stint with the Bengals, Wright also spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs. His professional career was relatively brief, and he did not achieve significant statistical success. He is generally considered a role player rather than a star receiver.
