John St. Leger (died 1596)

John St. Leger was an English politician and landowner, who served as a Member of Parliament. He was the son of Sir John St. Leger of Annery and Gransden, Devon, and his wife Catherine, daughter of George Nevill, 5th Baron Bergavenny.

St. Leger sat in the Parliament of England representing Dartmouth in 1558 and Plympton Erle in 1563. He inherited the family estate of Annery upon his father's death. He married Margaret, daughter of Hugh Stucley of Affeton, Devon. They had at least one son, Arthur St. Leger, who also became a Member of Parliament.

John St. Leger died on 6 October 1596. His will was proved the following year. He was succeeded by his son, Arthur.
