Khokhlov
Khokhlov is a derogatory and dehumanizing term used primarily during the Russo-Ukrainian War to refer to Ukrainians. It is considered an ethnic slur. Its origins are rooted in historical Russian perceptions and stereotypes of Ukrainians, often portraying them as simple, naive, and easily manipulated. The term carries significant negative connotations, implying inferiority and other derogatory attributes. Its use is often intended to incite hatred, dehumanize Ukrainians, and justify aggression against them. Due to its hateful nature, the term is widely condemned.
