Ignition (B1A4 album)

Ignition is the debut studio album by South Korean boy group B1A4. It was released on March 14, 2012, by WM Entertainment and distributed by Pony Canyon Korea. The album was repackaged and re-released as Ignition 2 on May 24, 2012.

Background and Release

Prior to the album's release, B1A4 released several singles, including "OK," "Only Learned Bad Things," and "Beautiful Target." The album's title track, "Baby I'm Sorry," showcased a more mature and emotional side of the group compared to their previous releases. "Ignition" explores themes of love, loss, and longing. The album was released in two physical versions, a normal edition and a special limited edition.

Ignition 2 was released to capitalize on the success of "Ignition." The repackaged album included the new single "Sleep Well, Good Night," along with additional tracks. The overall sound and concept of "Ignition 2" remained consistent with the original release, but with a slightly more refined and polished production.
