Pahlavuni

The Pahlavuni were a prominent Armenian noble family (nakharar) of Parthian origin. They claimed descent from the Parthian Arsacid dynasty. They held significant power and influence in Armenia, particularly during the Arsacid Kingdom of Armenia and later periods.

The Pahlavunis are known for their roles in Armenian political, military, and religious affairs. They often held high-ranking positions within the Armenian army and played a crucial part in defending Armenia against foreign invasions.
