Holtgast

Holtgast is a municipality located in the Wittmund district, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is part of the collective municipality (Samtgemeinde) of Esens. Holtgast is situated near the North Sea coast, in the East Frisia region. The local economy is largely based on agriculture and tourism.
