Ironmaster (film)

Ironmaster, also known as Iron Warrior, is a 1983 sword-and-sorcery film directed by Umberto Lenzi. The Italian production features a pre-fame George Eastman (credited as Charles Eastman) and follows the story of a primitive tribe led by a warrior named Ironmaster, whose knowledge of forging iron weapons gives them a significant advantage over rival tribes.

The film centers around two brothers, one good and one evil, vying for control of the secret of ironworking. The evil brother, determined to usurp power, seeks to destroy the good brother and the tribe. The plot involves battles, treacherous schemes, and mythical elements typical of the sword-and-sorcery genre.

Ironmaster is notable for its low budget, graphic violence, and somewhat campy acting. It gained a cult following due to its exploitation film qualities and its presence in the home video market. The film's soundtrack is also a point of interest for some fans.
