Hazel Grove (UK Parliament constituency)
Hazel Grove is a constituency in the United Kingdom's House of Commons. It is located in Greater Manchester, England, and elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first-past-the-post system.
History: The constituency was created in 1974 from parts of the former constituencies of Cheadle and Macclesfield. It traditionally had been a safe seat for the Conservative Party, however, more recently it has become a key battleground constituency between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.
Boundaries: Hazel Grove constituency covers the areas of Hazel Grove, Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme South, and Offerton in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport. The boundaries have been periodically revised to reflect population changes.
