HMS Nimble (1813)
HMS Nimble was a Bold class brig of the British Royal Navy, launched in 1813. She served during the later stages of the Napoleonic Wars and the War of 1812.
Nimble was built by Mr. James Hill at Sandwich and commissioned in April 1813 under Commander John Parish.
Her service primarily involved patrolling and escort duties. In 1814, she participated in operations along the American coast.
Following the end of the Napoleonic Wars and the War of 1812, Nimble continued in service, primarily involved in anti-smuggling patrols and other peacetime duties.
She was eventually sold out of service in 1832.
