Guéthary

Guéthary is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France. Situated in the French Basque Country, it is located on the Atlantic coast, between Bidart and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

Guéthary is known for being the smallest seaside resort on the Basque coast. It retains a traditional Basque village atmosphere and is popular with surfers, particularly for its reef breaks.
