PQASSO
PQASSO is a quality standard for charities and social enterprises in the United Kingdom. It stands for Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisations.
PQASSO provides a framework for organizations to assess and improve their performance in eight key areas: governance, planning, user involvement, managing people, managing money, managing activities, monitoring and evaluation, and communication.
The PQASSO standard is designed to be accessible and relevant to smaller organizations with limited resources. It is based on the principle of continuous improvement, encouraging organizations to identify areas for development and to implement changes that will improve their effectiveness.
Organizations that meet the PQASSO standard can gain accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to quality and accountability. Accreditation can help to build trust with stakeholders, including funders, beneficiaries, and staff.
PQASSO is managed and awarded by the Charities Evaluation Services (CES), a registered charity in the UK.
