Borough 1 (Düsseldorf)
Borough 1 is an administrative division of Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It encompasses the city's historic Altstadt (Old Town), as well as the districts of Carlstadt, Stadtmitte (City Center), Pempelfort, and Golzheim.
As the heart of Düsseldorf, Borough 1 contains many of the city's most important cultural, commercial, and governmental institutions. The Altstadt, known for its vibrant nightlife and numerous bars, is a major tourist attraction.
