George Shaw (Tasmanian politician)

George Shaw (born 1822, died 1894) was a Tasmanian politician. He served as a Member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council for the Huon district from 1880 to 1886. Prior to his parliamentary career, Shaw was a prominent businessman and landowner in the Huon Valley region of Tasmania. He was involved in fruit growing and timber industries.
