Frederic (band)

Frederic (フレデリック, Furederikku) is a Japanese rock band formed in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in 2009. The band consists of twin brothers Kenji Mihara (vocals, guitar) and Koji Mihara (guitar, backing vocals), along with Ryuji Akagashira (bass) and Takeru Takahashi (drums).

Frederic is known for their melodic rock sound, characterized by catchy hooks, intricate guitar work, and Kenji Mihara's distinctive vocals. Their music often incorporates elements of alternative rock, pop, and dance-punk.

The band gained significant attention with the release of their song "Oddloop" in 2014, which became a viral hit and helped to establish their national presence. They have since released multiple albums and EPs, including "oddloop" (2015), "Frederhythm" (2016), "Frederiqism" (2018), and "Light" (2021). Their music has also been featured in various anime series and commercials.

Frederic has toured extensively throughout Japan and has also performed internationally. They are recognized for their energetic live performances and their ability to connect with audiences through their music.
