Feira (constituency)
Feira is a former constituency in Portugal. It was a single-member electoral district that elected a Member of Parliament (MP) to the Assembly of the Republic, the Portuguese national legislature. The constituency covered the geographic area surrounding the town of Feira, now known as Santa Maria da Feira, in the Aveiro District.
The constituency's existence corresponded to specific periods in Portuguese parliamentary history, particularly prior to significant electoral reforms that led to larger, multi-member constituencies. The specific historical context and electoral system in place at the time would have dictated the exact boundaries and the mechanics of the election within the Feira constituency. Information regarding its exact boundaries, election results, and historical representatives can be found in records of Portuguese parliamentary elections and historical gazettes. The constituency no longer exists under its original configuration.
