Farmer Boys (band)
The Farmer Boys were a German crossover band formed in Stuttgart in 1991. They are known for their blend of heavy metal, funk, and alternative rock, often incorporating humor and social commentary into their lyrics. Their music is characterized by its heavy guitar riffs, groovy basslines, and distinctive vocals.
The band achieved moderate success in the mid-to-late 1990s with albums like Countrified (1995) and Till The Cows Come Home (1997). They toured extensively in Europe, supporting major acts and headlining their own shows. Their popularity waned in the early 2000s, and the band eventually dissolved in 2011.
In 2017, the Farmer Boys announced their reunion and released a new album, Born Again. They have since continued to tour and record new music, reaffirming their presence in the European metal scene. The band's lineup has seen some changes over the years, but core members have remained constant.
