Youssouf Fofana (Ivorian footballer)

Youssouf Fofana (born 10 January 1999) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 club Monaco and the France national team.

Born in Paris, France, to parents of Ivorian descent, Fofana began his youth career at various clubs including Red Star FC and Drancy. He made his professional debut with Strasbourg in 2018. In January 2020, he transferred to Monaco.

Fofana has represented France at various youth levels. He made his debut for the senior France national team in September 2022. He was part of the French squad that reached the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
