Fábio Ferreira (footballer, born 1984)

Fábio Ferreira (born July 16, 1984) is a Portuguese professional footballer who primarily plays as a centre-back.

Born in Portugal, Ferreira began his senior career with amateur clubs before joining Penafiel in the Segunda Liga. He subsequently played for several other Portuguese clubs including Felgueiras 1932 and Oliveirense.

Later in his career, Ferreira moved abroad. He played in countries such as Romania, representing clubs like CFR Cluj. He then moved to Australia, becoming a notable player for Adelaide United in the A-League. With Adelaide United, he achieved significant success, winning the A-League Premiership and Championship in the 2015-16 season. He was recognised for his strong defensive performances during his time in Australia.

Following his spell in Australia, Ferreira returned to Portugal and continued his career with various clubs.
