Ido Kedar

Ido Kedar is an Israeli computer scientist and academic, primarily known for his contributions to distributed computing and fault-tolerance. His research focuses on the theoretical foundations and practical applications of systems that can continue to operate correctly even in the presence of failures.

Kedar's work often involves the development of algorithms and protocols that guarantee consistency and availability in distributed databases and cloud computing environments. He has published extensively on topics such as Paxos, Raft, Byzantine fault tolerance, and other consensus algorithms. His research addresses challenges related to data replication, distributed transactions, and the management of resources in large-scale distributed systems.
