Ivan Kolev (footballer, born 1930)

Ivan Kolev (Bulgarian: Иван Колев; 1 November 1930 – 1 July 2005) was a Bulgarian football player and manager. He is considered one of Bulgaria's greatest football players of all time.

Kolev primarily played as a forward. He spent the majority of his club career with CDNA Sofia (later CSKA Sofia), winning eleven Bulgarian league titles and four Bulgarian Cups. He was known for his pace, technique, and goalscoring ability.

At international level, Kolev represented Bulgaria at three FIFA World Cups: 1954, 1962, and 1966. He was also a key member of the Bulgarian team that won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.

After retiring as a player, Kolev became a football manager. He coached various clubs in Bulgaria and also managed the Bulgarian national team on multiple occasions. He is remembered as a significant figure in Bulgarian football history.
