Bacardi Buildings (Miami)

The Bacardi Buildings, located in Miami, Florida, are a landmark architectural complex that served as the former headquarters of Bacardi USA. Composed of two distinct structures, the complex is notable for its vibrant and unique design, embodying elements of Mid-Century Modern and International styles.

The older building, constructed in 1963, is characterized by its iconic façade, a mosaic mural created by Brazilian artist Francisco Brennand. This large-scale tile mural, composed of over 28,000 individual tiles, depicts abstract geometric shapes and is a defining feature of the building.

The newer building, completed in 1973, is a blue tile-clad tower designed by architect Enrique Gutierrez. Its distinctive geometric pattern and striking blue color make it a highly recognizable landmark in the Miami skyline.
