Erlenbach (Kahl)

Erlenbach (Kahl) is a village within the municipality of Kahl am Main, located in the Aschaffenburg district of Bavaria, Germany. It lies on the banks of the river Kahl, a small tributary of the Main River. Erlenbach (Kahl) is one of several constituent villages that make up the larger municipality of Kahl am Main. The economy is predominantly residential with some small businesses. Historically, the area was largely agricultural, but modern development has led to more diversified employment opportunities. The village is part of the larger Franconian region of Bavaria.
