Jim Bett

Jim Bett (born 25 November 1959) is a Scottish former professional football player. He primarily played as a midfielder.

Bett is best known for his time at Dundee United, where he was a key member of the team that won the Scottish Premier Division title in 1983. He made over 200 appearances for the club across two spells, also reaching the UEFA Cup final in 1987.

He also played for Lokeren in Belgium, Rangers, and ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland. Bett earned 26 caps for the Scotland national team, and was part of the squad for the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.

After retiring from playing, Bett had a brief spell in management with Dundee. He later worked as a football agent.
