Blue Murder (folk group)

Blue Murder is an English folk group, originally formed in 1992. The band is known for its powerful and innovative arrangements of traditional English folk songs, often incorporating elements of rock and early music. They are recognized for their a cappella performances as well as their use of instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy, harmonium, and hammered dulcimer.

The original lineup consisted of:

• Jon Betmead
• Nic Broadbridge

Harries left the group in 2000, and the remaining members continued as a duo for a time. Later, they recruited:

• Carolyn Robson
