Curt Lahs

Curt Lahs (1893-1958) was a German architect and urban planner. He is primarily known for his work in urban reconstruction following World War II, particularly in Hanover, Germany.

Lahs studied architecture at the Technical University of Hanover. After his studies, he worked for various architectural firms before establishing his own practice. He was involved in several large-scale housing projects and infrastructure developments.

His work after World War II focused heavily on rebuilding Hanover, which had been heavily damaged by Allied bombing. Lahs contributed significantly to the city's new layout, prioritizing traffic flow and modern living standards.
