Aichtal

Aichtal is a town in the Esslingen district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located approximately 20 kilometers south of Stuttgart. Aichtal was formed in 1975 through the merger of the formerly independent municipalities of Aich, Grötzingen, and Neuenhaus. The Aich River flows through the town, giving it its name. Aichtal is part of the Stuttgart Region and the European Metropolitan Region Stuttgart.
