Doomsday (2008 film)

Doomsday is a 2008 science fiction action film directed by Neil Marshall. The film stars Rhona Mitra, Bob Hoskins, Malcolm McDowell, and Adrian Lester.

The plot revolves around a lethal virus, known as the "Reaper Virus," that breaks out in Scotland, leading the British government to quarantine the entire country with a massive wall. Thirty years later, the virus resurfaces in London, and a specialized team, led by Major Eden Sinclair (Mitra), is sent into the quarantined zone to find a potential cure.

Inside the quarantine zone, Sinclair's team encounters two distinct groups of survivors. The other group is a seemingly civilized medieval society ruled by Dr. Kane (Malcolm McDowell), a scientist who was trapped inside the quarantine zone and established a feudal system.
