Don Aase
Don Aase (born August 24, 1954) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) right-handed relief pitcher. He played for the Boston Red Sox (1977-1981), California Angels (1982-1985, 1987-1989), Baltimore Orioles (1986), and Los Angeles Dodgers (1990).
Aase was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 13th round of the 1976 MLB Draft. He was an All-Star in 1986 while playing for the Baltimore Orioles. He primarily threw a fastball, slider, and changeup. Throughout his career, Aase was known for his effectiveness in late-inning situations. His career spanned 13 seasons.
