Corey Simon

Corey Simon (born March 1, 1977) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played college football at Florida State University, where he was a consensus All-American.

Simon was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles with the sixth overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. He played five seasons for the Eagles, reaching Super Bowl XXXIX. He was selected to the Pro Bowl three times during his tenure in Philadelphia.

Following his time with the Eagles, Simon played for the Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, and Buffalo Bills. He retired from the NFL after the 2007 season.

After his football career, Simon pursued a career in public service. He served as the president and CEO of Volunteer Florida, the state's lead agency for volunteerism and national service, from 2011 to 2014. He also served on the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He has also been involved in various charitable and community initiatives.
