J2 was a New Zealand television channel operated by TVNZ. It primarily targeted a younger audience, broadcasting a mix of animated series, live-action shows, and music programming. J2 was available on digital terrestrial television and via satellite. Programming often included content sourced from overseas, particularly from the United States and Australia, as well as some locally produced shows. The channel's broadcast hours typically spanned from afternoon into late evening. The channel ceased broadcasting on October 1, 2014, being replaced by TVNZ's new youth-focused channel, TVNZ U.
