Jibu-ni
Jibu-ni is a Japanese word (字引に) meaning "in the dictionary" or "according to the dictionary." It is often used adverbially to indicate that a particular meaning or usage of a word is found in a dictionary and, therefore, generally accepted as correct. The phrase can imply that the speaker is relying on dictionary definitions as an authoritative source. It does not inherently suggest that the speaker personally agrees with or prefers the dictionary definition, merely that it exists as a recognized definition. "Jisho ni" (辞書に) is a near synonym, using a different kanji for "dictionary," but with largely the same meaning and usage.
