HMS Cleopatra (1835)

HMS Cleopatra was a sixth-rate sailing frigate of the Royal Navy, launched in 1835. She was built at Devonport Dockyard to a design by William Symonds, Surveyor of the Navy.

Cleopatra displaced approximately 932 tons and carried a complement of 280 officers and men. Her armament typically consisted of 26 guns, including long guns and carronades.

She served on various stations throughout her career, including operations in the West Africa Squadron engaged in suppressing the slave trade.
